Show Local, and Personal Mr. and Mrs. Andy Williams are now residing in our city. Miss Arvilla Cook, of Salt Lake was the house guest of Mr. and Mrs. Lorin Osborn during the week. Mr. and Mrs. Karl Levi were week end visitors in Beaver. J. P. Jones of Salt Lake is now working at the Galena mine. Clyde Chipman is spending his summer vacation at American Fork. Mr. and Mrs. George Fernley are spending the week in the Beaver mountains. Miss Eleanor Griffiths spent the week end in Salt Lake with friends an drelatives. Mrs. Christy Lee, of Las Vegas, is the guest of her daughter and son and family during the week. Mrs. Ella Ernst, departed Sunday for Lehi, where she will make her future home. Mr. and Mrs. Doug Ryan, Mr. and Mrs. H. P. Ryan, Mr. and Mrs. Rue Nelson, and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Ryan returned from a ten day trip to Fish Lake Wednesday evening. Miss Thelma and Vida Fincham, of Blue Rapids. Kansas, nieces of Mrs. W. W. Cook, of South Milford, are guests at the Cook home. Mrs. Edith Farnlow of Salt Lake, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. L. Osborn, Os-born, is contemplating making her home in this city. , Mr. and Mrs. Fred White and family fam-ily have been the guests of Mr. White's mother. Mrs. Almeda White during the week. L. G. Clay motored to Fillmore Wednesday morning, returning in the evening, accompanied by Mrs. Clay's mother, Mrs. John Carling, and sister, Mrs. Dwight Christopher-son. Miss Ardath Johnson chaperoned ten girls, on a trip to Minersville canyon. Sunday. They arrived in ample time to partake of an early morning dip in the river, followed by a very, appetising breakfast. Remainder Re-mainder of the day was spent in games, hikes and bathing. I Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Sierling announce an-nounce the engagement of their dau-ighter, dau-ighter, Ruth Adaline, to Mr. Glen !Haner, of Fairbury, 111. The wedding will take place the latter part of July-Mrs. Manuel of Black Rock, was in town during the week. Mrs. O. J. David spent several days in Salt Lake during the week. Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell Coon were in our city during the week en route from Alexander, Idaho to California. Mrs. S. M. Read, of Chicago, will be a guest at Roosevelt Hot Springs during the next two months. Mrs. Jack Wardenburg, of Salt Lake City, was the guest of Mrs. H. T. Hanks several days during the week, returning to her home on Wednesday. Berii Nichols returned from a trip to Salt Lake on Monday, leaving his little daughters to visit with friends and relatives of that city. Mrs. H. T. Hanks, Mrs. J. C. Love of Caliente; Mrs. J. Wardenburg of Salt Lake and Jane Hanks and Peggy Peg-gy Peterson, spen'ti Sunday evening at the Roosevelt Hot Springs, returning re-turning to Milford Monday morning. Mr. and Mrs. Fournier left this week for the coast, where Mrs. Fournier Four-nier will visit relatives at Hollywood Mr. Fournier will go on to San Francisco Fran-cisco to attend reserve officers training train-ing camp. Mr. Fournier is a lieutenant lieuten-ant in the Coast Artillery Reserve corps. Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Muns-on. of Los Angeles, were in Milford Wednesday Wed-nesday evening. Mr. Munson was formerly for-merly bookkeeper for P. B. McKeon and this was their first view of Milford Mil-ford since they left here in 189S. |
