Show DEMOCRATIC CONVENTION The Beaver County Democratic convention was held in the county court room in Beaver City, Thursday, October 5th, at which time candidates candi-dates were named for the party ticket tick-et at the next general election, November No-vember 7th, 1922. ( O. A. Murdock was made chairman and Frank Smith secrotary of the meeting. Robert B. White was chosen as candidate for the office of representative. representa-tive. Following are the other nominations: nominati-ons: Clerk Bort Griffiths. Assessor H. A. White, Jr. Treasurer Frank Smith Recorder Ada Frazer. Sheriff E. F. Sherwood County Attorney Abe Murdock. Surveyor S. O. White Jr. C. C. Sloan of Milford. was the choice of the convention for county commissioner for the four-year term. Ross B Cuttler was nominated can didate for tho office of county commissioner com-missioner for the terra of two years. By resolution of the convention a rooster in defiant attitude was adopt- od as tho party emblem. The Democratic central committee was empowered to fill any vacancy occuring in the nominations made prior to election. |
