Show NOTICE OF CONTEST ! Department of the Interior, U. S. i Land Office, Salt Lake City, Utah May 1, 1924 To Charles Ruck, of Spokane, Washington, Contestee: You are herey notified that George Harter, who gives Nada. Utah, as his post office address, did on April 9th, 1924, file in this office his duly cor-roberated cor-roberated application to contest and secure the cancellaion of your Entry No. 029928, made September 18th, 1922 for W 1-2 Section 1 and W 1-2 Section 3 0, Township 3 0 South, R. 13 West, Salt Lake Meridian, and as grounds for his contest he alleges that entryman never established residence res-idence on the entry since filing on the same and has not lived on the entry for any period of time; that he has never made or caused to be made any improvements on the land and has never plowed or cleared any ground or cultivated the same and has not erected any dwelling on said entry or other buildings or fences any of said entry; that said entry man is not now and has not been since the filing of said entry subject to the Army, Navy or Marine corps of the U. S. and that his failure to make improvement? or establish residence res-idence was not caused through any rnilitary service: that the entryman ?s a fugitive from justice. You are. therefore, further notified notifi-ed that the said allegations will be taken as confessed, and your said entry will be cancelled without fur-"ir fur-"ir right to be heard, either before 'his office or on appeal, if you fail to file in this o ce within twenty days after the Fourth publication of this notice as shown below, your answer under oath, specifically responding to these allegations of contest, together to-gether with due proof that you have served a copy of your answer on the said contestant either in person or by registered mail.
