Show COMMERCIAL CLUB HOLDS A MEETING At the meeting of the Chamber held in the town hall last Wednesday evening, the question of advertising was entered into very thoroughly and it was agreed to put on an advertising ad-vertising campaign. commencing with articles and illustrations to appear ap-pear in the Arrowhead magazine, pro vided satisfactory arrangements, with the managers of the magazine can be made. A committee, composed of Jefferson, Jeffer-son, Kinney and Lewis was appointed to get cuts and provide the text of either a long article or several short ones, descriptive of Milford and its surroundings, and have the matter all ready for publication when the proper time comes. McKeon. of the minstrel committee, commit-tee, reported the success, both flnnxi-cially flnnxi-cially and otherwise of the big show. The effort netted about $115, which amount has been turned over to the chamber of commerce advertising fund. A vote of thanks was extended to the committee, the performers and all others who so generously assisted in making the show such a marked success. The next regular meeting of the "hamber will he held on the first Wednesday of June. |
