Show HODGES-KIRK Miss Laneta Hodges, daughter of Mr. anr Mrs. Fred Hodges, was mar-rii mar-rii d Christmas evening to John Al-vrt Al-vrt Kirk, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Kirk. Bishop E. II. Bird performed the ceremony ait the home of the bride's parents. The homo was decorated in Christ mas colors. The bride wore a gown of blue and dove color calton crepe, trimmed with beaded, passementerie. The groom wore a dark brown suit. Only the immediate family were present. The bride and groom at (ended the dance at the opera house after which a number of their young friends gave them a reception at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Moore. The bride is a fine voting lady, born and brought up in Beaver. The groom is, a fine young man, born in Milford and' owns the City Transfer business. He reien'ly bought a fine little home on Walrus street, where they have gone (o housekeeping. A wedding dinner was given In their honor. Monday afternoon, December Dec-ember 26. at 2 o'clock at the home of the groom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. lohn Kirk. The invi'ed guests were: Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hodges and family. Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Kirk and family. Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Arrington Ar-rington and family. V.any beautiful and usrful presents pres-ents were received by the happy couple. |
