Show CUT NEW ORE BODY AT THE BEAVER COPPER CO. Recent report from the Beaver Copper mine, Beaver Lake Mining district, near Milford, tells of the disclosure of silver-lead ore. Word of the strike was brought to Sail Lake by Manager A. J. McMullen, who is here on business connected with the promising property. So favorable fa-vorable are the new conditions at tho mine that Mr. McMullen is of the opinion that he will soon cut the objective fissure vein, the Wasatch, ' which is exposed on the surface, an which fissure ist known to carry the big ore values in the Beaver Lake country. Since work was resumed the first of the year 100 feet of additional drifting has been done in the direction direc-tion of the main fis::ure vein. At pres ent there is a foot of highly mineralized miner-alized rock in the face of the drift, a considerable part of which Is high grade. The Beaver Copper mine is one of tne most heavily mineralized of the Beaver Lake district, where a number of good shipping mines and many likely pro poets are located. The Beaver Copper is being systematically systematical-ly developed by Manager McMullen, who is positive that he will make a big mine c.t the Beaver In the near future. The big Wasatch and other heavily mineralized zones prominent in the Beaver Lake district cut through the Beaver Copper for tho entire length of the mine, on their strike. It only requires rutting one or more of these big dykes al depth to place the mine among the Beaver Lake shjppors Mineral Survey. |
