Judge Morris of St. George, stopped stop-ped off at Milford Wednesday morn-' ing. Mr. and Mrs. G. F. Moore left on Saturday for Salt Lake to make their home. J. F. Mrs. Lenore Brumbaugh of Salt Lake City, grand lecturer of the Utah Grand Chapter O. E. S.. visited Ruth chapter Monday and Tuesday and held a school of instruction. Morris Thompson and Clark Baldv-win, Baldv-win, both Beaver boys, were arrested here the first of the week and fined $50 each for disorderly conduct. Monday of this week, the 8, year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Vern Rollins of Minersville, fell into an irrigating ditch and fractured his arm. Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Sportsman went to Salt Lake Friday morning, where Mrs. Sportsman will receive medical treatment. Hill and family have moved to Provo. Mr. Hill is employed as brakeman on the railroad rail-road and has been transferred to that place. Mr. and Mrs. O. J. David and son former residents of Milford, returned return-ed Saturday from Salt Lake and have moved into the Forgle apartments. Mr. David is employed1 as dispatcher. Mr. and1 Mrs. Downs and family left Wednesday night for LeGrande, Oregon, to make their home. Mr. Downs has been a dispatcher in the Union Pacific offices here for a short time. Bishop and Mrs. Bird, Mrs. Rose Hedges and Mr. and Mrs. William Miller were among thoso who pt tended tend-ed conference in Beaver Saturday and Sunday. The Saturday Bridge club, consisting consist-ing of nine members, met with Mrs. Bert Moore, January 13. The prize was won by Mrs. Jack Theissen. Mrs. Chas. Newhart returned on Sunday from a week's visit in Salt Lake and Provo. While in Provo, a reception was given, by Rev. and Mrs. W. F. Bulkley, for Mrs. New-hart New-hart at the Episcopal church.
