Show CLIFFORD WILLIAMS Clifford Williams was laid to rest in the Greenville cemetery at 2 o'clock Friday, November 15th, in ,the midst of the winter's first snow storm. His' remains had been sent from Camp Kearny, following' solemn services there. The cortege met at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jams Williams, at Greenville Green-ville proceeding to the burial. Mr. O. F. McShane, Dr. J F. McGregor and Prof. George Durham were the impressive .speakers. The , Greenville Green-ville ehojr rendered appropriate songs of solace. Banks of flowers were beautiful. A large pillow of rose buds and carnations served as a base for the Iffrge flag which was planted as a marker at the head of the grave. Th casket was wrapped in the stars and stripes with its heavy hea-vy warm folds. A salute of three shots was fired as the casket was lowered. Mrs. Gene Kirk and Mrs. Hickman of Milford, sisters of the dead soldier, Mr. and Mrs. Fredrick Price and George Price, relatives of Beaver, were in attendance, as were many friends from the surroundinr country and Greenville.
