Fireman Howarth was called home from Salt Lake early Wednesday morning on account of the illness of his wife. Fireman F. Evans dead-headed on No. 2 to Lynndyl Wednesday morning morn-ing to take Fireman Howarth's place. Some of the tallows were making fast runs in the beanery one evening this week, and after they left it was discovered that the sugar was full of cinders. Condr. Ernst, accompanied by Mrs. Ernst, went to Los Angeles, where Mr. Ernst will undergo treatment. Mrs. Ernst expects to be absent from her position in the post office about ten days. Joe Price, the Salt Lake lineman, dropped into Milford on No. 1 Wednesday Wed-nesday evening. Master Mechanic A. P.
