Show MRS WALTER MOODY DIES Sudden Death of Bride of Two Years is Terrible Shock to Relatives Miss Gertrude Holmes, secre- tary for the Delta Land & Wa- ter Company and allied corpo- rations, received a telegram yesterday morning from W. I. Moody, stating that Mrs. Moody had passed away very sudden- ly about 2 o'clock p. m. on Wednesday, January 2 4. It will be remembered that a baby daughter was born to the family about two weeks since. The mother rallied and was apparently appar-ently getting strong. On Wednesday, Wednes-day, while at the lunch table, Mrs. Moody, without warning, fainted and her death followed within a very short time. Mrs. Moody's maiden name was Miss Dagnar Orlab. She was a .native of Salt Lake City and a member of one of the old families of this state. She was united in marriage to Mr. Walter Moody in Los Angeles only two years since in February. ; The bereaved and griefstricken I husband and relatives with the body passed through Milford last night en route to Salt Lake where the funeral fune-ral services will be held and interment inter-ment made. The News joins 'local friends in deepest sympathy for the stricken ones. The infant daughter is well and will be a source of sustaining strength to the bereft father and sorrowing sor-rowing friends. |
