Show . maxwell ; makes ood record in the rl motor non-stop run t'j The Maxwell Touring Car that started from Maxwell Headquarters at Minersville Friday at 10 ji A. M., traveled, during its 72 hours travel, a distance , j of 10-jG.O miles, consuming 47:;4 gallons of gasoline, j making an average of 22.14 miles per gallon of gaso- 1 fj line used. The car was loaded most of the time and I considering the weather which was unfavorable dur- I jjj ing the entire run, is certainly a remarkable record- I ej Two gallons of oil were used during the run which I j was more than was necessary, but plenty of oil was i. used to be sure that the engine had plenty of oil at fcj all times rather than take any chances on letting it get low on such a long run. Water never boiled in , the radiator at any time during the run, showing the cooling system to be exceptionally good. The run i was not started to see how long the car would run :j for Mr. Dotson, our Local Agent, thinks a Maxwell k will run an exceptionally long time without difficul-$! difficul-$! ty, but was started to show that the car would peril per-il form wonderfully and economically. With the ex- ception of the engine stopping once for one minute rj during the run on account of dirt in the gasoline, the r! car went through without any adjustments or trou-fi trou-fi ble of any kind whatever. Mr. Dotson is glad to show any prospective purchaser at any time the economy of the Maxwell in gasoline consumption J, 'and will test out in your presence any Maxwell Car before purchase of same. A.
