Show SOCIAL and FRATERNAL ! i j THE KENSINGTON' j One of the pleasant events of the past week was the Kensington in honor of Mrs. O. E. Adkins, who left for Salt Lake City on Monday. The guests numbered twelve. . The decorations were in jonquils arranged in vases throughout the house. Delicious refreshments were served. The hostesses being Mrs. E. H. Street and Mrs. E. C. Sloan presented present-ed the guest of honor with a beautiful beauti-ful gift. Those who attended were: Mrs. E. Bardsley. Mrs. C. T. Woodbury. Wood-bury. CLUB ENTERTAINED Mrs. Berkheimer and Mrs. Blunt royally entertained the O. E. S. Club radies at the home of the former on Friday afternoon. The rooms were beautifully decorated deco-rated with pink and white cafna-tions. cafna-tions. The time was enjoyed in playing 500. A dainty lunch was enjoyed by all. The prizes were won by Mrs. J. A: Ingols and Mrs. P. J. Evans. The O. E. S. Club will meet with Mrs. Caswell on April 11th. ( THE BLUE JEANS j DANCING PARTY! The calico and blue jean dancing I party given by the O. E. S. ladies I was one of the most enjoyable af-j fairs of the past week- The hall was I beautifully decorated with the O. E. S. colors. Everyone was dressed in costume. The prizes for the old fashioned costumes were won by Mn E. Bardsley and Mr. W. Dobson. The prize for the waltz was awarded to Mrs. Le Duffin and Mr. Higgins. Refreshments were served all evening. The committee in charge were: Mrs. J. A. Ingols, Mrs. H. Nichols. Mrs. J. M. Williams, Mrs. P. J. Evans, Mrs. W. H. Elmer. t t t The Methodist Ladies' Aid met at Mrs. Gailey's on Thursday afternoon. Those present were Mrs. Jefferson, Mrs. Cottrell, Mrs. Roper, Mrs. Johnson, John-son, Mrs. Tribole, Mrs. Robinson, Mrs. Bryan, Mrs. Hyatt, Mr. and Mrs. Allison, Mrs. Benton. Mrs. Good-speed. BANQUET; VISITORS' NIGUT one of the largest and most elaborate elab-orate social and fraternal gatherings of the season was given last Monday Mon-day evening at the local Odd Fellows hall by the presiding officers where about 80 members and their wives of the Milford and Beaver Lodges, spent the evening in social and fraternal fra-ternal merriment and did justice, to a bounteous spread that had been prepared. Many good talks were made by different members of both lodges and the Ladies of the Beaver Rebekah Lodge which were enjoyed immensely. immense-ly. The following Odd Fellows and their wives of Beaver attended the I. O O. F. Hall: Arthur Smith and wife, M. A. Domiano and wife, A. Marcus and wife, Dr. J. C. McGarry and wife, Jos. H. Bowman, Mr. Ed Mackerel, Mack-erel, Mr. Cockett. The officers of the Milford lodge are C. J. Mclntyre, noble grand, A. P. McKeon, vice-grand, Arthur Wood secretary and Harrold Harrington treasurer. t t t Revival services in the Methodist church beginning Monday evening April 8. The Rev. E. E. Mork of Salt Lake City will hold a series of meetings in the M. E. Church. Rev Mork will preach every night except Saturday nights for two weeks. On Sunday morning Rev.
