Show THREE UTAH MEN DIE IX THREE DAYS Tragedy came thrice to Riverside in as many days last week. In each instance aged men were the victims of death and singularly enough each man at ome time or other came from Utah. Early Thursday evening, H. J. Dykes, 72 formerly of Salt Lake City was found dead on Market street near Eighth. Apoplexy or heart trouble, the coroner said was the cause of death. Friday night, W. C. Foss, 60, formerly for-merly of Fayette Utah was found lying ly-ing in the street near White Park on Market. He was severely injured, and at that time believed to have been struck by an automobile. He died at the County hospital later. Saturday morning, police summoned summon-ed by letter to a shack on Pachappa avenue, found the body of Albert Mihm, 75, at onetimeaminerrafwww Mihm, 75, at one time a miner in Utah. Mihm in a letter to Mayor Porter, confessed that he contemplated contem-plated suicide. Despondency and old age are belived to have fostered his action Riverside (Cal.) Enterprise. A . . |
