Deardon of Garrison was In Milford on business last Monday. Gustav Wissler of Salt Lake was doing business in Milford the first of the week. ' I Mrs. H. T. Hanks and little daughter daugh-ter have returned from their visit in Salt Lake City and Provo. Ed. H. Street, former cashier of the Milford State Bank, is here from St. John for a short visit. S. D. Atkin- and W. E. Allen of Salt Lake City were in Milford this past week. Mrs. O. P. Johnson and Mr. J. E. Rambler of Nada took a run into our city this week on land business. Mrs. Ed. Bardsley has returned from her visit with relatives and friends at Parowan. Dr. Cnlmsee of Nada has been In Milford during Dr. Hunter's trip to Salt Lake City. Mrs. H. C. Hunter returned from her summer outing in southern California Cali-fornia Thursday morning. A. L. Burgin has left for . Seattle. Washington. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Veater and children chil-dren arrived in Milford this week. Their little daughter is having medical medi-cal treatment. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Dobson returned return-ed last Friday from their trip to Salt Lake City. They had a vpry enjoyable enjoy-able time. Mrs. S. I.. Harrington left Monday evening for California via Salt Lake. She will spend the winter with her two daughters one in San Francisco arid the other in Oakland. This will be her first visit to California and she is looking forward to It with pleasure. , Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Lay of Nada came to Milford this week. ' Mr. Lay has accepted a.position with the Larson Lar-son Garage. ' ' . He reports a good crowd and a fine display. He had to hurry back in order to be here to register. P. J. Adams leaves tonight for the National Road Masters' convention, which will be held in Chicago Sept. 17 to 19. He expects to be away about ten days. After the convention conven-tion he will go to Pittsburgh to visit with friends and relatives. Miss Sara Keener spent a few days the past week in Milford on her return re-turn from the north, having spent part of her vacation attending summer sum-mer school at the university. She went on to Frisco, but will soon return re-turn to Milford ready to take up her school duties in Milford high for the coming year. Attorney Sam Cline leaves Monday September 23, for San Francisco to euter-the legal department of the Adjutant Ad-jutant General's office. Sam has two brothers already in the Army and the only reason that he has not long been in the service is because he could not pass the physical examination examina-tion for active service. - Mrs: Vr J. Tregunna arrived at Milford last Monday from Park City to join her husband who has boon here since, last April. Mr. and Mrs. Tregunna have decided to make their home in our midst for awhile. I Mr. Tregunna is a miner from Park City and has had good exp-ience with some of the greatest produn rs I in this stale and is at present work-ling work-ling at the Leonora Mine, Milford. |
