Show Belgians Were Sound Asleep The members of the Belgium Commission were supposed to pass through Milford on the early train Wednesday morning bound for Salt Lake City, and they did. There was a delega- tion at the depot hoping to get a glimpse of the distinguished .- travelers. The hour was too early, however, for the Bel- , giums were sound asleep dreaming no doubt of a time when the war ended and their country restored they will be living at peace with all the world with big Uncle Samuel standing by and lending a help- ing hand and needed dollars for reconstruction. A quartet of singers of Milford refrained from disturbing the sleepers. The Belgians were met by a delegation on No. 1 from Salt Lake City farther up the line and welcomed into the State . capital of Utah. The Salt Lake committee entertained the vis- itors in a most royal and de- lightful manner. |
