Webster, of the Project, Wednesday afternoon, the 12th instant. Charles Malouf and brother George, returned this week from Kanosh and vicinity, where they have been visiting for a few days. Mrs. E. Jorgensen of Salt Lake, spent the Fourth with her son, E. B Jorgensen, Milford's hustling young business man. The Milford base ball team defeated the Beaver team, last Sunday, by a score of 12 to 6. Thiessen and Coon pitched for the locals, allowing only four hits. The Silver Medal oratorical contest conducted by the W. C. T. U. at the Hillside School, last Sunday morning, was won Dy Lidura rerguson, wirn Frances Lake a close second. A considerable number of settlers on the Project held a meeting in the Hillside School House, last Mondai , to discus9 water shortage and other matters of interest to the ranchers. There will be no preaching service in the local M. E. church on the coming com-ing Sunday evening, owing to the absence ab-sence of the pastor who is in Beaver conducting revival services. The State Board ot Barber Examiners Exam-iners has just completed a 2,600 mile trip through thirteen counties. Man violations of the law were found. Fillman was before Justice Nichols Wednesday, to answer to a charge of having insulted a lady or the street. Drunkenness was the plea. A sentence of thirty days or thirt dollars was imposed.
