Show rOHD-TKIlRXH MALE CASK The Ford interests are sending out broadcast to all the country newspapers, at great expense, gar-boled gar-boled reports of the trial in the form of 'plate matter.' These stories are extracts frni the testimony and comments by some disinterested? party who takes particular pains to. smooth over the rough places for Mr. Ford and belittle the attorneys for the Tribune. These stories are so different In tone from those which appear In the large city dailies, that we have consistently refused to use them, regarding them as an effort of Mr. Ford to obtain a lot of free advertising, and we are glad to note that but few of our brother editors edi-tors have fallen for this costly and usolesB propaganda. |
