Show NADA NEWS NOTES Miss Ruth Hedges and Mr. Silas S. Owens were married at Salt Lake City, July 3, 1919. They made the trip to the Lake and return by auto, accompanied by the bride's mother. Mrs. Delia Hedges. Mrs. Owens has lived here the past three years and has made many friends by her lovable disposition an pleasant jollity. Mr. Owens has also lived in this neighborhood the past year and Is well and favorably known as an upright, up-right, honest and industrious young man. worthy of the young lady of 'his choice. Mr. Owen has purchased an elegantly ele-gantly furnished and beautiful home in Cedar City, where they will be at home to their friends after October 1 Mr. and Mrs. Owens are to start soon an a honeymoon trip by auto, through Yellowstone Park. Last Saturday a large party of friends from this place and Lund, gathered at the home of Mrs. Hedges Hed-ges and serenaded the bride and groom. After a couple of hours spent pleasantly in games, music and 'conversation, the guests departed, wishing them many years of happiness happi-ness and prosperity. Vernon C. Johnson went to Milford Mil-ford one day ast week. Mr. and Mrs. S. S. Owens will tender ten-der a reception to their many friends Saturday evening July 2G. at Cul-nesee Cul-nesee hall. J. C. Harter, who Is spending the summer in Washington, sidling mustard mus-tard beaters, writes that it Is as dry there as it is hero, and that Utah looks better to him than Washington |
