Show NOTICE OF CONTEST Department of the Interior, United States Iand Office, Salt City, Utah March 25, 1920 To Elton James of San Diego, California, Cal-ifornia, Contestee: You are hereby notified that Anthony An-thony Stephenson, who gives Nada, Beaver County. Utah, as his post-office address, did on February 19th, 1920, file in this office his duly corroborated cor-roborated application to contest and secure the cancellation of yourEn. Homestead Entry No Serial No. 018397, made July 9th, 1917, for Lots 1, 2, 3, 6, 7, 8, and 11 on the North onehalf of Section 1, Township 31 South, Range 13 West. Salt Lake Meridian, and as grounds for his con test he alleges that said entryman, Elton James, has never made any improvements upon the said entry; has done no clearing, fencing or building, and that the entry Is in the same Identical condition at this time as It was when the first filing was made on July 9th. 1917; that entry-man entry-man was discharged from the United Unit-ed States Navy about November 1918 but has never established residence on the entry nor made or done any Improvements since his discharge from the U. S. Navy. You are therefore, further notified notifi-ed that the said allegations will be taken as confessed, and your said entry will be cancelled without further fur-ther right to bo heard, either before this office or on appeal. If you fall to file In this office within twenty days after the Fourth publication of this notice, as shown below, your answer, under oath, specifically responding to these allegations of contest, togeth er with due proof that you have serv ed a copy of your answer on the sild contestant either in person or by registered reg-istered mall.
