Show SCOUTSGAME IN THE RING The Milford boy scouts put on their first athletic exhibition Friday night at the Milford opera house, before be-fore a small but enthusiastic crowd. The following was the program: . Muir vs. Coleman, 3 round boxing. Fernley vs. Blanpied, wrestling. Gleeson vs. Stoker, 4 rounds boxing. box-ing. Mclntire vs. Jefferson wrestling. Battle Royal ended with Bird and O'Rourke the last to remain out of ten entries, These two boys are to be matched for some future date. Baxter vs. Glenn, wrestling. Gleeson vs. Tanner, main event of six rounds. Exceptional talent was shown both boys in the main event, this bout itself giving the crowd more than their money's worth. Scoutmaster Mayo assisted by Ste ve Stoker are to be congratulated on this excellent program, each and every ev-ery event was good and pulled off on scheduled time. The public should lend their support to this movement, inasmuch as it is for the making of men out of the Milford boys. A first class program has been arranged ar-ranged for next Friday night with a main event between Carter and Martin Mar-tin of six rounds. -j , , |
