"Now that the American Railway Express company is operating under its own management," said Agent Hillary, wa are gradually returning to normal conditions and are introducing intro-ducing agreat many changes in methods me-thods which we expect will, within with-in a reasonable time, show results very satisfactory to shippers. - "We have already accomplished much since, the time of the merger ' in 1918, and the service is general ly considered good. But we do not say it cannot be improved and that is our aim. Yet we cannot promise immediate improvement, owing to the unsettled conditions that have to be faced during this period of readjustment. re-adjustment.
