Show ZION CANYON TO BERES0RT At least one resort of the mountain moun-tain West may prosper as a result of the new railroad regulations, and a new path may be opened up thru one of the most beautiful sections or the natural wonderland in southwestern south-western Utah. Zion Canyon will be the favored attraction. A conference will be held within a day or two at Lund, Utah, between W. W. Wylie, who has the camping concession in Zion Canyon, Can-yon, and Wm. Warner, assistant general passenger agent of the Salt Lake Route, will pave the way for the completion of arrangements for summer touring. It is pointed out that under the new regulations, persons intending to visit the canyon will not be obliged oblig-ed to purchase a ticket through to Los Angeles with a stopover at Lund, for stopovers will be things of the past after June 10. Instead, the tourist will leave the train at Lund, tour Zion canyon, make a detour overland over-land to the Grand Canyon of Arizona, Ari-zona, and connect with the Santa Fe for southern California. |
