Show j - OH, SO DRY! j For two years. Utah has been hung ion the prohibition clothes line, high I and dry, and just a short time ago, ' the rest of the U. S. followed suit. One of the greut things that has been discovered by prohibition, is that the average man now has more money to save, and not only are the banks ' carrying more depositors, but W. S. S. and Thrift Stamps are being purchased ; by those who formerly wasted their i money. .luck Sears In his cartoon this week represents both Uah and the U. S. hnnidiig on the prohibition Hue, and both dry, Utah being labeled "very dry." "Wasters" has been a term of reproach re-proach always given to the citizens of the United States, but now that term i can be no longer applied, as with the ' drink evil being mlnlmiied, and the : great campaign for thrift being cur- ried on in the schools, we shall no 1 longer be entitled to the name of "Waiters," but rather "WSSers." |
