Members of the thirteenth thir-teenth legislature of Utah, employees of both houses, representatives of the press nnd invited guests of the legislators legis-lators journeyed to Logan in. a special train on January 18. for tlie double purpose of attending a military review re-view of tlie 1445th field artillery and of inspecting the Utah Agricultural college col-lege and conferring with its officials relative to legislation affecting the institution. in-stitution. A special train was secured for the occasion. Provision was made for the entertainment of the junketers, as dining din-ing cars were attached.' The house voted to pay for the meals of its members mem-bers and guests out of the contingent fund, but, on motion of Senator W. J. Parker of Weber, the senate decided that its members and guests could pay for their own meals or do without. |
