Show HIGH SCHOOL YEAR BOOK As Riley says: "It sets my heart a clickin' like the tickin' of the clock" when we see the business air and hear the hum of the re-constructive spirit around the high school. , The question came up, "Can we put out a year book this year?" We saw no doubting Thomases Thom-ases but the verdict was "Let's get the facts." A meeting was held and two live investigation committees ' appointed. The first consisted with Vivian Duffin chairman wflth Sam j Hickman and Delia Cottrell to help hint in soliciting advertising. The ! other consisted of Clair Nichols ' chairman, assisted by Alta Edwards,, Daulton Hicks and May Johnson to! sell year book coupons. There's nothing like results to show ability abil-ity as salesmen, and now before we hardly have time to tall it. thev ! come back at us with surprising re-sponces re-sponces which practically assure the financial support for an annual that will reflect credit on the school, j We have adequate talent in view for the editorial , business and art ! work that assures a publication in keeping with the growth of our ln-i ln-i stitution. We must not forget to ! mention that the business men oi Milford are showing that they sense their power, to boost the school, the year book and themselves by subscribing sub-scribing liberally for advertising space. The flu can't kill a good enterprise. |
