Show v A Splendid Entertainment Grade Schools Closing Exercisei A Decided Succcts Thurday evening a erowd which packed tbe large High School auditorium audit-orium to the doors enjoyed every moment of the two hours consumed in staging the closing .exercises of the Miiford grade schools. An extended account of the program being impossible in this issue, suffice it to say that the affair was a success from start to finish, not a weak feaiure in the entire program, and much credit is due to the Misses Mc-Douough Mc-Douough and their assistants, Mrs. Draper and Mrs. Murray, for their efficient efforts in training ihechlldrea for their parts. The exercises might be termed "A Play of the Seasons," the girls costumed to represent Bowers, Bow-ers, raiuriropB etc., while a number of the boys weie dressed as Brownies and Chinamen. The High School pitln glee club rendered' 'Old Kentucky Ken-tucky Home" in a charming manner. The singing throughout the program |
