Show SPEAK OUT WE will never begin winning the war against disloyalty so long as our remarks about pro-Germans and pro-kaiserim are made only in a whisper or behind'dosed doors. This is the time for an American to speak out loud under all circumstances. If. there is business to lose or friends to estrange because one supports his government, the issue should not be deferred. No business or friendship bought at the price of such silence is-worth a fraction -of the price. This does not mean that those of German descent who are loyal citizens of this country should be em- , barrassed and humiliated by aspersions of an uncalled for nature upon their people as a class, but it does mean that the righteousness of America's cause should be openly upheld wherever it is brought into discussion on American soil.
