Show CHRISTMAS DAY The following poem was written by the nine year old son of B. M. Pres-cott, Pres-cott, Traveling Tariff Inspector of the Salt Lake Route, and sent in by L. Chapman of Black Rock. Sing, sing, let your voice resound, On, on, with that joyful sound, Sing, sing, from far away, On this joyful Christmas day. .Sing, sing, from near and far, Remember the story of the Morning Star, For long ago the Christ Child was born, Long ago, on the first Christmas Morn Sing, sing, of the Christmas spirit, Sing, sing, so all may hear it. Sing this joyful Christmas day, From here, near and far away. Sing, sing, of the cruel war,. And how it's over and is no more. See how the tyrants their hold release Sing, sing of the Joyful Peace. |
