Show CITY BOARD ORDERSSEWERS New Extension Will . Make 4,000 Ft. Hill St. Out At a meeting of the City Trustees held last Monday night the matter of sewer extension was taken up. After thorough discussion it was decided de-cided to eliminate the hill street section sec-tion and to sewer the remaining portion por-tion of Milford not yet enjoying such convenience. This will mean about 4,000 linear feet of new sewer. The usual batch of bills were passed pass-ed and' ordered paid. Health Board to" Get Busy The health board, which consists of E. H. Bird, Marshal Baxter and E. B. Jorgensen, was told by resolution to get busy with the enforcement of the necessary sanitary measures to put the town in good sanitary condition. con-dition. Convenience for Farmers" Xeeded The matter of a public hitching rack and watering place for teams coming into town was passed upon some months since, but for the reason rea-son perhaps that what is anybody's business is nobody's business no action ac-tion has been taken to provide this greatly needed convenience for those who come to Milford to do their trading. trad-ing. , Those present at the meeting Monday Mon-day night were Trustees Pitchforth, Hickman and Elmer. : |
