Show BOY INJURED WITH LASSO Monday morning while playing at the school grounds in Minersville, the ten year old son of George Baker Bak-er got caught in a rope hitched to the saddle of a horse ridden by Kent Kelsey and before the horse stopped, stop-ped, the boy was dragged through a fence and an irrigation ditch with a result that the bones in the leg were broken in five places and forced forc-ed through the flesh and the arm was fractured besides skinning and bruising the boy from head to foot. Dr. Swanson who is attending the case says the leg is the worst broken brok-en up of any case he has ever had. This (Wednesday) noon the boy is resting as comfortably as could be expected but it will be at least two months before he can walk. |
