Show , w , i DEATH OF GEORGE MUNFORD I ; The funeral services of George Munford Jr. were held a the Trber-; Trber-; nacle, 2 o'clock, Tuesday afternoon j Mr. Munford was born in Beaver i City, 4 9 years ago and has bee-i an active member of the L. D. S. church for a, number of years, and at the time of his death was a member of t he City Council. He filled a mission in England in 1 890, having returned just 27 years before the day of his funeral. He was married to Jane Crosby in 1893 and served as High counsellor counsel-lor from 1894 to 1916, was also assistant as-sistant superintendent of the Sunday School and later superintendent. He was ordained to Bishopric October 1910 and served until July 1919. Speakers at the funeral were J. F. Tolton, Bishop Robert White, C. D. White and Prof. Maeser. Mr. Munford died suddenly last Sat urday of heart disease and is survived surviv-ed by. his widow, his father, George Munford Sr., two sisters, Mrs. Hat-tie Hat-tie Ashworth and Mrs. Lydla Robliii-son Robliii-son and one brother, Wm. Munford, and a host of friends who mourn his Beaver Press . |
