Show Leonora Improving'. One of the miners from the Leonora Leo-nora of Beaver came up yesterday with about fifty pounds of samples ' from a new find. This is out east from the. main shaft. A drift had been sent out about 600 feet northerly north-erly then 450 easterly and here the vein matter has just been cut. President Presi-dent Madson said yesterday that this face is about 350 feet vertically under un-der ground. This work is making out toward the old workings above the camp houses. Two days ago the miners broke into a quartz ledge where the limestone is bedding. This is near the main east-west fissure which strikes into the Hosier Boy. The quartz shows copper and lead. When the miner left Milford the face then showed about 2 0 inches of quartz. Superintendent A. C. Ne-becker Ne-becker writes that this is one of the best showings the Leonora has had in a long time.
