Show W.Lee Gray Is Elected President of Utah Elks Exactly 20 years from the time he first affiliated himself with the Elks, and in the same city, W. Lee Gray of Milford and Cedar City was elevated to the office of president of the Utah State Elks association, rising t that position from the vice-presidency, which he has held for the past year. Election to the presidency presi-dency came at the state convention conven-tion held at Eureka last week. Mr. Gray joined the Eureka Elks lodge 20 years ago when there was no other lodge in southern south-ern Utah. Since then a lodge has been organized at Cedar City and Mr. Gray has been one of the most active members of that group, .also taking a great deal of interest in fraternal affairs throughout the state, especially in the observance of Flag days, and obher patriotir phases of the Elks' activities. The Grays, who lived at Milford a good many years ago , later were located at Cedar City, but came back to Milford about four years ago, Mr. Grays work on the Union Pacific having brought about the transfer. Just recently he has been relocated at Cedar City and his family will move there in the near future. |
