Show Funeral Held At Minersville For Mrs.A.0. Hardy . Funeral services were held at Minersville Monday, January 9, for Mrs. Emma Elizabeth Davis Hardy, 48, wife of Arthur O. Hardy, who died at their home in Gunnison January 6 after an illness ill-ness of several months. Burial took place in the Minersville cemetery ceme-tery withv people from all parts of the county in attendance. Mrs. Hardy was born in Minersville, Miners-ville, July 17, 1890, daughter of Mary Helena Colton and William J. Davis. She was married to Arthur O. Hardy June 30, 1909, at Beaver. They lived in Minersville until four years ago when they moved to Centerfield. They moved to Gunnison six months ago. Mrs. Hardy had been prominent in the Minersville Camp, Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. She had been active in the Sunday School and Primary organizations. The Red Cross First Aid station was at her home. She was office clerk for the Telluride Power company at Minersville and operated the public telephone for 19 years. Surviving, besides her huslband, are two daughters: Mrs. Ruby Baker of Minersville and Olive Hardy of Gunnison; four sons, Eugene Hardy of Logan, Warren, Russell and Clark of Gunnison; her mother, Mrs. Helen Davis of Minersville; five (brothers, William Davis of Milford, Leon, Owen, James and George Davis of Minersville; one sister, Mrs. Laura Sherwood of Minersville.
