Show Milford Hoopsters Beat Cedar Team By 42-33 Score After several years of only mediocre performance on ithe part of Milford high school basketball teams, it looks like other U-ams ot the region 6 division are going to !c forced to accord Milford sum-measure sum-measure of respect this season and look out for their championship champion-ship aspirations the next year or two as Milford's group of green-lings green-lings go into their stride! All this is preliminary to boasting boast-ing of Milford's win over Cedr City high school by a 42-33 score in a pre-season rcv.urn practice game played on the local floor New Year's eve. This was the first victory of games played this season sea-son but the way the boys have been showing steady improvement frum game to game, local people had already beL'iin to take notice when the win over Cedar City came along. In this game the local a Is took the lead from the start and had no difficulty maintaining it. Furthermore, Further-more, the box score indicates that the victory was a cleancut one, with the local fellows scoring 19 field goals to 13 for the visitors. In the matter of free throws, hov-evi'i, hov-evi'i, the locals converted 4 out of 8. while Cedar made 7 out of their 11 attempts count for points. This reversal of form from past ! performances which have insured for Milford only the cellar position in the regional race, is not any happen-so.
