Show Announcements were printed this week at The News office this week telling of the marriage on Saturday, August 7, of Miss Isa-bell Isa-bell Renee Fernley to William W. Roselle. The marriage took place at Provo and immediately the happy hap-py young couple left for Rock Springs, Wyoming, where they will make their home. The bride is the attractive young daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George B. Fernley. She was born in Milford Mil-ford and received her education in the local schools. The bridegroom is a son of F. R. Roselle, Salt Lake contractor, and served as engineer for the local C C C camp for some time after it was first established here. It was during this time that he met his bride-to-be. More recently he was made field engineer engi-neer for the Mountain States Fuel company, the large concern which supplies Wyoming cities and the principal cities of L'tah with natural nat-ural gas from the fields near Rock Springs. Both young people have hosts of friends who extend them every good wish. Milford friends of the Joseph Riggs Murdock family this week received announcements of the marriage in San Francisco of Miss Miriam Elizabeth Murdock, popular popu-lar daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Murdock, to John Fife Ogburn. Accompanying Ac-companying the announcements were cards stating that the happy couple would be "at home" at 401 Forty-third avenue, San Francis- 1- "Betty", as she is more familiarly familiar-ly known, was born in Beaver but grew to young womanhood in Milford, Mil-ford, attending the local high school for two years, but completing complet-ing her high school work at Ramon Ra-mon convent in Alhambra, California. Cali-fornia. She later took a business course in the same state and at the present time has a position with the Emporium, San Francisco's largest department stores. Her husband is associated in business with an uncle In San Francisco. Mrs. Murdock and their youngest young-est son, Joe, left Milford for San Francisco and Oakland several weeks ago to be present for the wedding. Mrs. George Moore was hostess to the Firemen Indies club Monday night with bridge being played during the evening. Mrs. Ezra Lyman was the winner of the high score prize and Mrs. Glen Barnes the consolation prize. Those present pre-sent were Mesdamos K. B. Coon, Barney Fotheringham, Ezra Lyman, Ly-man, Faye Bradfield. Glen Barnes, Wilson Moore, Heber Myers, 0. K. Smith, William Ashworth and Mrs. Banks. |
