Show FIRMAGEJHEATRE Friday and Saturday The new anil refreshing star combination of Jean Harlow and Robert Taylor in an utterly delightful de-lightful romantic comedy, makes "Personal Property", which comes to the Firmage theatre Friday and Saturday, one of the outstanding film treats of the season. Taylor appears in the amusing role of a family black sheep who is reduced to service as a deputy bailiff, assigned as-signed to guard the chattels of a charming woman whose debts have gotten beyond her. Miss Harlow is the lady in question. He even serves as a butler on an occasion of social emergency and visiting ladies are all eyes for the handsome hand-some servant who admits them. It is a foregone conclusion that this mirthful couple fall in love, but in the interval they encounter many adventures that keep you laughing. I Sunday and Monday "Super-Sleuth", new film offering offer-ing of Jack Oakie and Ann Soth-1 Soth-1 ern, is based on an amusing idea, for film entertainment the plight of a conceited and easy-going I screen star, who has won distinction distinc-tion for his detective roles in pictures, pic-tures, upon being plunged into a real-life murder mystery which he has to solve before he himself is murdered. This novel central theme adorned with riotous comedy and spine-chilling situations, interwoven inter-woven with a hectic romance be; ! tween the slueth-star and the feminine femi-nine publicity director of his studio, and is complicated by the effort? of the Hollywood police to find the mysterious killer. The picture takes advantage of its Hollywood locale to give many glimpses of the film capital. Favorite eating resorts of the stars, and the "behind "be-hind scenes" views of a picture in the making, including the work of a company on location, are presented pre-sented in the course of the story. Bradley Page, Paul Guilfoyle, Joan Woodbury and Alen Bruce are also in the cast. A news reel and comedy com-edy will be shown these nights. Tuesday and Wednesday Army, navy and marine corps have all had their day of glorifying glorify-ing on the screen. In "Sea Devils", RK.0 Ra :io has gone into a new field for its setting the exciting work of the United States Coast guard and has evolved one of the mrst dramatic and thrilling films of the season. Victor McLaglen, Preston Foster and Ida Lupino share the stellar honors in this colorful tale of courage at sea and romance ashore. McLaglen is a crusty old C. P. O., proud of his medals for valor and his motherless mother-less daughter, Ida Lupino.
