Show Pioneer Conveyances Wanted For Pictures C. G. Parry of Cedar City, one of the owners of the Parry lodge at Kanab, was in Milford Tuesday, searching for old-time freight wagons and other conveyances which might be available for use in two forthcoming picture productions pro-ductions which will make use of Kanab and Cedar City scenes for many of the outdoor shots. One of these is to be a production titled "Union Pacific" and will utilize sections of the Iron Springs railroad line for various scenes. Kanab was headquarters for the company which made the notable picture "Bad Man of Brimstone" and the long cloudless days, clearness clear-ness of the atmosphere and little necessity of re-takes, made such a hit with the producers that many more pictures are planned with a view of using southern Utah locations loca-tions for out-door shooting. Anyone knowing of pioneer day conveyances will do Mr. Parry a favor by communicating with him at Cedar City. |
