Madelyn Kohler is able to be about again after being confined to her bed for more than a week with an injured knee. After the meeting dainty refreshments were served to Mrs. J. R. Murdcck sr., Mrs. Vena Wilson, Mrs. William Dawson, Daw-son, Mrs. Roy White sr., Mrs. J. L. Low and Mrs. 0. C. Koch. Mrs. Laurence Peterson entertained enter-tained a number of little folks Monday afternoon in honor of the fourth birthday of her son Larry. Those present were Gene Black, Ralph Moore, Robert Ferguson, Lois Atkin, Ronald Watts, Mary Anderson, Carma Joseph, Joan Smith and Charles Justin Walker Principal and Mrs. E. R. Smith was hostess to her bridge club Wednesday night with Mrs. Myron Lewis winning the prize for high points, Mrs. D. S. Williams for high honors and Mrs. J. R. Murdock jr. the consolation conso-lation iprize. Others present were Mrs. Gene Kirk, Mrs. Jack Wes-trn, Wes-trn, Mrs. George Rodgers and Mrs. George Moore. Mrs. B. T. Walker enltertained Sunday afternoon in honor of the fourth birthday of her little son. Charles Justin. Those enjoying the party were Jackie and Elizabeth Eliza-beth Davidson, Earl Horton, Bonnie Bon-nie and Vera Tomsik, Neil Ache-son, Ache-son, Jean Black, Garry Bingham Larry Peterson, Joan Smith, Val Kotter and Tuck Johnson. Milford was just about void of high school students with musical ability last Saturday when the local lo-cal high school made the trip almost al-most en masse to attend the music festival at St. George, which was found to be a plenty long and arduous trip. Departing from past practices when the festivals were held in Cedar City, there has been made available to The News no re-, port of ratings given or other particulars. Mrs. R. W. Acheson was hostess to 'her bridge club Tuesday ' evening. eve-ning. Those present were Mrs. A. B. Gilliam, Mrs. S. W. Johnson Mrs. Harold Cline, Mrs. Grover Black, Mrs. B. T. Walker, Mrs. K. B. Coon, Mrs. Thomas Gerrard and Mrs. Roy Foerschler. First high score prize was won by Mrs. Cline, second high (by Mrs. Foerschler Foer-schler and third high Iby Mrs. Gerrard. Ger-rard. The B. and P. W. clulb met at the home of Miss Mary Banks last Thursday evening. The lesson was given by Mrs. D. S. Williams, after which different matters oi business were taken up. It was decided that the club would serve hot coffee to the workers on 'the fair grounds this Friday. Those present were Mrs. George Jefferson, Jeffer-son, Mrs. Grtrude Dewey, Miss Ida Jolley, Miss Norma White, Miss. Maibel Horsley, Miss Banka and Mrs. Williams. Mrs. Lloyd F. Kohler entertained entertain-ed her bridge club and guests last Thursday evening with the following follow-ing members present: Mrs. Thorold White, Leah Richards, Gertrude Dewey, Alice Carlson and Gladys Coleman. The guests were Mrs. Frank White, Mrs. Faye Bradfield, Mrs. A. A. Mclntyre, Mrs. George Fernley, Mrs. Wilson Moore and Mrs. Walter Josephs. Clulb prizes were given to Leah Richards for points, Gertrude Dewey for honors and Mrs. White consolation. Mrs. Frank White was given the guest prize. Mrs. LaMar Ouitzen entertained at a delightful bridge party last Friday evening. Those present were Mrs. Myron Lewis. Mrs. Gene Kirk, Mrs. B. T. Walker, Mr?. R. W. Acheson, Mrs. George Moore, Mrs. J.
