Show Former President Praises Lions On Gained Objectives Karl S. Carlton, a former -president of the Milford Liions ' club, who has-just returned from . spending spend-ing the winter in southern - California, Cali-fornia, was a guest a., the semimonthly semi-monthly dinner meeting of the clb, held Wednesday evening at the Union Pacific dining rooTn and expressed his pleasure at being be-ing present and his agreeable surprise sur-prise a.t the large number of Lions in attendance. Ever since the club had been organized in Milf I'd, he said, it had been the ambition of the cluo to get the united interest inter-est of all proups within the community com-munity and this seems to ' have been realized at last, with railroad, rail-road, school and others now joining join-ing with business and professional men and all working for the. common com-mon good of the community.
