Show j u 27 Rounds Boxing Planned Jlay 17 The new boxing and wrestling arena of the Milford Volunteer Fire department in the former Atkin theatre building will be given a fitting initiation Friday evening,. May 17, at 8:30 o'clock when 27 rounds of amateur boxing, box-ing, plus a rousing battle royal, will be staged as the first of a series of Friday night athletic , cards. The cards will be sponsored , by the fire department and, with I the arena located in the heart of 1 town, they should bo very suceess-J suceess-J ful features. . i D. E. Kirk and Owen W. Stoker have been especially active in ' matching the bouts for this first ' program and anyone glancing over : ; the lineup will realize at once that jit is a natural. One-forth of the I proceeds are to go to the fire department, de-partment, one-fourth to building 'rental and the remaining one-half j to the participants for training expenses.
