Show CHRBTIANSCIENCE "Reality" is the subject of the lesson-sermon to Ibe read by the Christian Science Society in Milford Mil-ford Sunday, March 26. Among1 the selections from the Bible are the following: "One generation shall praise thy works to another and shall declare thy mighty acts. They shall abundantly abund-antly utter the memory of thy great goodness, and shall sing -of thy righteousness" (Psalms 145: 4,7). Included as a correlative is the following from "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" Scrip-tures" by Mary Baker Eddy: "God, good, is self-existent and self-expressed, though indefinable as a whole. Every step towards goodness good-ness is a departure from materiality, mater-iality, and is a tendency towards God, Spirit. Material theories partially paralyze this attraction towards infinite and eternal good by an opposite attraction towards the finite, temporary, and discordant" discor-dant" (p. 213.) |
