Show Milford Girl Leaves For Trip To Chicago Miss Marie Carlson, junior student stu-dent in the Milford high school and daughter of Mrs. Selma Carl-soon, Carl-soon, left Wednesday afternoon for Salt Lake, where she is to spend a few days prior to leaving for Chicago on Friday, in company com-pany with three other girls, similar simi-lar winners of trips for 4-H club activities. In addition to the trip to Chicago with all expenses paid, Miss Carlson lias also been presented pre-sented with a gold mrdal by the KleciroHix Refrigerator company, as a reward in the state food contests, con-tests, while Miss Itha Patterson has been given a gold medal presented pre-sented by Montgomery, Ward & company as an award for her superiority su-periority in the style revue at the time of the state contests. As a testimonial of the pride the Lions club takes in the achievement, achieve-ment, Miss Carlson was presented on her departure with a purse of over $12 to be used by her as spending money in the course of her trip. |
