Show fIRMAGE THEATRE Sunday and Monday The thrilling story of "Here Comes the Xavy" is so timely that Warner Brothers, heeding popular demand, have brought it back to the screen. It stars James Carney Car-ney and Pat O'Brien as tsvo of the toughest tars ever to sail the seas. This picture comes to the Firmage I theatre Sunday and Monday. Based on Ben Markson's exciting story which combines romance, rollicking comedy, rapid fire action and breathtaking thrills, the picture is said to be one of Warner Brothers most tremendous productions. The latest news and a Donald Duck cartoon, "The Bill Poster'", also will he shown. Tuesday and Wednesday j This Gene Townc4Grnham Baker version of Louisa May Alrott's ; "Little Men" retains some of the Alcott characters, changing some others. The story deals with a fight between rattle-I rattle-I men and nest.ors over land and water and has a greater content 1 of comedy than the usual run of Cassidy pictures. Karl Carroll beauties, gorgeous J gowns, spectacular dance numbers, num-bers, comedy, hit. tunes and tir-1 tir-1 ring melodrama are the rich ingredients in-gredients presented by Paramount in "A Night, at Karl Carroll's", which conies to this theatre as the other picture of the double fea ture show Thursday and Friday. Saturday Things were very gay back in the days when gallant gentlemen drank their champagne from the dainty satin slippers of the reigning reign-ing stage queen, when the nineteenth nine-teenth century was turning into the twentieth, and when all the actresses and red heads were considered con-sidered "fast". Mrs. Leslie Carter was both an actress and a redhead, red-head, which may be part of the reason why her life story, "Lady With Red Hair", turns out to be such exciting and satisfying film fare. Another, and very good reason, rea-son, is that Miriam Hopkins is starring in this picture, which comes to the Firmage theatre Saturday only.
