Show HIGH SCHOOL PLAY i TO BE HIGH COMEDY Students of the Milford High School will present to the public tomorrow (Saturday) night at 8 p. m., in the Milford High School I auditorium, the annual school play. i A hilarious dramatic comedy, "The Lovely Duckling," written especially es-pecially for high school production, is directed by Mr. John VIoyantes. The students participating in the production are Mary Fowles, Barbara Bar-bara Lewis, Mary Outzen, Joyce Scott, Arwell Campbell, Melpha Lyman, Ray Kesler, Bonnie Crane, Carlie Waddoups, Arthur Johnson and Barbara Fotheringham. Afton Spainhower and Mr. Farrer are assisting with the performance. The play concerns a pretty and talented 16-year-old girl "Pat Holmes, and her whole-hearted efforts ef-forts to make all possible trouble for her new stepmother. What she did about it provides good chuckle-some chuckle-some comedy, for Pat has no prejudice prej-udice against making scenes and causing trouble. To further complicate com-plicate matters, Pat's younger sister, sis-ter, "a child movie star in Hollywood, Holly-wood, comes home for a visit right on the heels of their father's marriage, mar-riage, and what Pat, learned from her about the life of a "moppet" was plenty. Tickets for the performance can be secured at the high school Saturday Sat-urday night. |
