Show CANCER DRIVE OVER: QUOTA IS TOPPED, AS USUAL The Cancer Drive is over. Milford Mil-ford mantained its record the envy of every other city, town or community in Southern Utah of oversubscribing the quota on every worthwhile drive that has been instituted here in recent years. Turning in $120, with several organizations or-ganizations yet to report after first-of-the-month meetings, the Cancer Drive Committee of the American Legion Auxiliary forwarded for-warded a check to county headquarters head-quarters last Thursday. That amount represented an oversubscription oversub-scription of 120 per cent of quota, and it is likely that another 15 or 20 per cent will be added. Mrs. Ernest U'Ren was general chairman of the drive, with Audrey Russey and Ruth McWhorter in charge of school collections, and Mary Williams directing activities in South Milford. |
