It is a western melodrama where O'Brien goes after a gang who pretend to build a railroad but who are really lumber thieves operating through fake homesteads home-steads and government grants. Thrills, authenticity and the year's unique romance combine to make "They All Come Out", prison pri-son drama coming to the Firmage theatre as the other picture of the double feature show, a triply satisfactory surprise for audiences audienc-es seeking screen entertainment off the beaten track. With a cast headed by Rita Johnson and Tom Xeal, this picture of life behind the bars of the federal prison system's institutions make much more of a lasting impression than many other film of life and love. Chapter 11 of "Lone Ranger Rides Again" also will be shown. Sunday and Monday "In Name Only", with Oarole Lombard, Cary Grant, Kay Francis, Fran-cis, Charles Coburn and others in the east, comes to the Firmage theatre Sunday and Monday. It is a drama against a background of Connecticut suburban life and New York City, and a tale of a married couple who never should have married and of a widow who finally pries the man Jfromi his cold, scheming wife. The latest news and a cartoon also will be shown. Tuesday and Wednesday "Our Leading Citizen", with Bob Burns, Susan Hayward, Elizabeth Eliza-beth Patterson and others in the cast, comes to the Firmage theatre thea-tre Tuesday and Wednesday. The picture is about a prosperous, headstrong factory owner who employs an army of strikebreaking strike-breaking thugs afjainst his employes em-ployes who are loyal but antagonistic antago-nistic because of an economically unjustified cut in wages. Bob Burns, as a lawyer runs in a senatorial sena-torial race against the factory owner and exposes him. The latest news and a travelogue also will be shown. Thursday "Within the Law", Bayard Veil-ler's Veil-ler's heart-gripping drama of a girl who attempts to "get even with society", comes to the Firmage Fir-mage theatre Thursday only. The cast includes Ruth Hussey, Tom Neal, Paul Cavanaugh and others. The story concerns a department store salesgirl, who is wrongfully sent to prison for theft. She1 studies- law and on gaining her freedom sets out to get even with the man who occused her. A comedy com-edy and a specialty also will be shown. |
