Show Born to Mr. and Mrs. Gareth W. Lowe, of Burbank. a nine pound b&y, March 2. Mrs. Lowe is the daughter of ( Fimer and Virgie Davies of Bur-, Bur-, tank. Mr. Lowe is formerly of Long Beach and Arcadia, Calif. He war recently released from the , service after three years in the Air Force and is ranching with his father-in-law on the Davies j Bros, ranch at P.urbank. j The baby was delivered by Dr. Shannon at the Milford Hospital. Both mother and son were doing I splendid. The new parents expect to christen the child Ronald William Wil-liam Lowe. Miss Evelyn Jones of Jacksonville, Jackson-ville, Fla., accompanied by Margaret Mar-garet Leon o fHawaii. visited for the past week at the W. M. White home in Nada, en route to Jacksonville, Jackson-ville, where the Hawaiian lady will enter school. Mrs. J. M. Hughes returned from Logan last Thursday, accompanied by her son Nolan, who is attend- Iing school at the U. S. A. C. Miss Joyce Armstrong of Jericho was a guest at the Hughes home over the week-end. Pfc. Vernon Hughes of Kearns telephoned his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Hughes, last Saturday, to tell them he was being transferred trans-ferred to northwestern Alaska. McCoy and DuWayne Williams, sons of Mr. and Mrs. Art Williams, are at home in Milford. Chief A. M. McCoy is enjoying a 30-day leave from his base in the Hawaiian Ha-waiian Islands, his first trip home in three years. He has been in the navy for six years. Aviation Machinist Mate 2c DeWayne was discharged at Shoemaker, Calif., on February 27, after serving three years in the navy. Both brothers met in Ogden, and came home together. to-gether. Mr. and Mrs. Hughes Williams left Tuesday for Louisiana, where they wil enjoy a 30-day vacation visiting Mrs: Williams' parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Kendall, and friends. Mrs. Willard Nichols left on Monday for her home at Holladay, after visiting for the past week with her son, Bill Nichols. Sheron, a smal daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nichols, returned with her for a visit. Lawrence Eldridge, Vance Fisher md Gerald Schow furnished the music for an Elks party given at Cedar City last Saturday evening. Accompanying them to Cedar City were Mrs. Lawrence Eldridge, Mrs. Vance Fisher. Mr. and Mrs. Keith "Bauer, and Mary Eldridge.. |
