Delicious homemade cake, ice cream and coffee was served to sixteen guests. This is the second of a series of parties to be held the fourth Tuesday of each month. Mrs. Ruth Leffler was also given a handkerchief shower as she is moving to Salt Lake Citv. Mr. and Mrs. Lorin Osborn left for their home in Salt Lake City Sunday afternoon. MRS. Lina Morris won the House prize. Others present were Nina Bing-; Bing-; ham, Garnetla Hollis and Miss Petty Moore as guest. I.O( M. LADIES MEET NATIONAL V.F.W. PRESIDENT Mrs. Lois Waddingham and Mrs. Owen R. Smith were in Salt Lake la t week to be present at the official visit to Utah of the Nat onal President of the Veteran of Foreign Wars Auxiliary of the United States. Mrs. M. Frances Anderson of Bridgeport, Conn. They also visited in Ogden where they heard Mrs. Anderson deliver a very fine speech on Organization. fiKKKY BANKS HONORED AT PARTY Mrs. Ronald Banks entertained at her home in honor of her daughter Gerry's birthday, Monday, Mon-day, March 21st at 8 P. M. The evening was spent playing Monte Carlo Whist. High prize was won by Mary LaMar O-utzen and the low prize was given to Nona Wright while the cut prize went to Shirlene Gillins. At 11 o'clock refreshments were served by the hostesss to the following: fol-lowing: Lucille Smith, Mary LaMar Outzen, LaDawn Muncey, Mary Reece. Barbara Stoker, La Rue Thompsen, Delores Bradfield, Pat Twiner, Georgia Bardtrief, Dorothy HutcWins, Nona Wright, Shirlene Gillins Madalyn Kohler, Norma Gremshaw, Sylvia Voorhies and Gerry Banks. Mr. and Mrs. Vance Fisher and Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Eldridge returned last Friday from Salt Lake City, where the Fishers attended at-tended a Penney stores convention and the Eldridges conducted business. |
