Show o Attend Funeral ot War Vet Father i Grover C. Cuddy has returnee I from San Bernardino, California, 'where he was called by the fatai i illness of his father, Asa J. Cuddy, 91, who died Sunday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. S. A. Ren-ner. Ren-ner. The elder Mr. Cuddy was born , in Kcatsville, Missouri, September 22, 1840. and entered the Civil war with the 45th Missouri regiment regi-ment while yet in his 'teens. After the war he moved to Kansas. I where he operated a farm until 1003. Pie moved to Los Angeles 3b .years ago. He was a Mason of 50 .eavs standing and was one ot four surviving Civil war veterans living in San Bernardino. Another son, J. W. Cuddy, of Wichita, Kansas also survive him, together to-gether with 10 grandchildren and" three great-grandchildren. Mrs. G. C. Cuddy and Mrs. Render Ren-der accompanied the body back to Kingman Kansas, where interment ' was to take place in the family plot. Miss Sarah Cuddy, who ac- , companied her parents to San Bernardino, remained there for a visit with relatives. |
